As a high school English teacher, Christopher receives a generous fellowship from the C.E. & S foundation to attend the Bread Loaf School of English. He is the coordinator for the Kentucky Bread Loaf Teacher Network and a member of the Innovative Teacher Leader cohort for 2014-2015.


A Pushcart Prize nominee, his poems are published in  Diode, Limestone,  Louisville Review, Rabbit Catastrophe Review, the LA ReviewRattle and others. In 2013 he came in second place in the Robert Haiduke Poetry contest and won Still: the Journal’s fiction contest judged by Holly Goddard Jones. His chapbook Splayed is currently available from ELJ Publications.


Christopher is an editor at Accents Publishing, an independent press for brilliant voices, and he edits the Lexington Poetry Month Anthology.


In 2014 he began working with The Field Office Agency to advocate for poetry and the poets he loves.

Christopher currently lives in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife, Eloise, and his daughter, Abra.
